Umi Shoes Spring/ Summer Collection

Fun colors and fashions are a big part of Spring /Summer and a lot of brands have released their new products for this 2015 Spring/Summer already and that includes one of my favorites Umi shoes that have added a selection of sun and playful colors in different styles to celebrate the new season!

Umi Spring

Umi is one of those brands I like to stay up to date with as I have been a fan of their children’s shoes ever since I first tried the first pair and that has a lot to do not only with the designs, but also with the quality and the fact that their shoes are built to promote a healthy foot development for which in my opinion, is never too early.

With warmer weather there will be more outdoors activities and having the right attire for it is always very important. That is the reason why I wanted a pair of comfortable, easy to put on and take off, light weight shoes for my daughter for which the Dane II shoes seem like the obvious choice.

The Dane II

This was my first time trying one of the Umi children’s shoes on this style, so I was not sure as to what to expect…The very first thing I have to say, is that I thought the box was empty when I received the shoes as they were totally weightless. These have to be the lightest children’s shoes I have ever come across besides baby’s shoes of course.

I am very impressed with how light weight they were as I proceeded to inspect the shoes… Canvas and leather upper and available in 5 different color combinations to match your little girl’s need and likes, the Dane II is made with quality materials and attention to detail with great craftsmanship. We decided to go with the pink which is a hip color combo of pink and gray with a touch of burgundy on the pull straps located at the front and back of the shoes to complete the look. The Umi children’s shoes then used contrasting pink and gray stitching.

The Dane II Children shoes features mesh lining and footbed, and it also has a durable raised outsole to help prevent the shoes from slipping. The Dane II is part of the UmiSplash line ( Handcrafted with quick-drying water friendly materials).
The Dane II Children shoes from Umi have a retail price of $51.00.
