I received a Glue Dots Sampler [pack for this review. I was not compensated for this post. My opinions are my own and not by any means influenced by any other part.

What kind of crafts are you doing with your kids this Easter? My daughter is almost 7 and of course she wants to be involved in everything…One thing she has not managed to understand, is that glue is not a paraffin treatment for the hands and it is supposed to stay on whatever project we are working on, not in her hands!A few days ago Glue Dots offered me the opportunity to try their product and I thought this would be a good alternative to the other glues I have tried to use with my daughter.

Glue Dots has 3 different types of glue to work with: removable, permanent, and poster, which are now available in selected grocery and drug stores. The different formulas are kids’ friendly as they are acid-free, archival-safe and non-toxic and very user friendly! You can get the Glue Dots in easy to use packs or dispensers.

I found that both the permanent and the poster versions have a better grip so depending on what you are working on I will recommend to use those. Glue Dot sent me a few different projects to do with the ladybug including Easter bunnies made of empty toilet paper rolls….You can see the instructions for the original project HERE.

I decided to do my own version of the project and traded in the paint used in the project for different prints scrap paper. The project is very easy to do and kids of different ages can easily participate in this fun project. What you will need for this project is empty toilet-paper rolls, scrap paper or paint, Glue Dots, Googly eyes, cotton balls, a black sharpie or marker and scissors. First clean the rolls of any paper residue, add the glue dots and cover with the paper.

Make sure to leave a good amount of paper on both the top and bottom of the roll, then cut rectangles on the edges and fold inside the roll ( you can glue the paper in or not, I did not). Cut straps of paper to make the ears and fold to create the bunny ears. After that glue the eyes, draw the nose, mouth and teeth along with the whiskers.

You can paint the teeth white or not….Let your little helper decide  . Add the bunny tail and you are all set! Quick, mess free and lots of fun for you and your little helpers, for more fun ideas on how to use the Glue Dots you can visit Pinterest!
