The baby is here and now mommy needs to get back in shape. To get this accomplished, I am planning to start a series of exercises and routines that includes, walking, jogging and trekking! To get to my goals I know that I need to have the proper gear.
Hi-Tec Footware
Hi-Tec is devoted to creating sharp, long-lasting apparel and footwear for work, trails and life, so I was very interested in trying some of their shoes. For this review I received a pair of PENRITH LOW WATERPROOF sneakers that features suede and mesh upper.
The Hi-Tec PENRITH LOW WATERPROOF shoes are well constructed and comfortable. Actually, they are a lot more comfortable than what I had anticipated. The PENRITH are also breathable which is a must for me here in Florida. The shoes are also very true to size and have a regular/medium width.
In addition, these water proof shoes feature Di-Tec membrane to help keep your feet dry. One other thing I really like about these shoes, is the lacing system they used as it provides users with a secure fit.
The PENRITH also features an EVA sockliner for added comfort.
In addition, the PENRITH features Multi-Directional Traction (MDT), and rugged rubber outsole for improved grip and durability. Actually, when you look at the sole of the shoe, you will see that it says Flex Groove on the upper and mid part of the sole. You will also see that the sole has a raised pattern to help with the traction.
The shoe is lightweight and also has a back strap to assist you when putting the shoes on. Over all, these shoes are made to last and endure tough outdoors conditions. The PENRITH is available in dirt concealing colors : Gray/Purple and Gray/Blue and has a retail price of 69.99.
For the more adventurous souls, Hi-Tec has the Altitude Lite I Water Proof Hiking shoes.
The Altitude Lite I Water Proof Hiking Boots
Feature waterproof suede and mesh upper for durability and comfort, Like the Penrith, the Altitude Lite, has the DI-Tec technology to keep your feet dry.
These hiking boots are also well made and have great craftsmanship and attention to details, including an i-shield feature which repels water and dirt, and is resistant to stains, Gusseted tongue to keep rubble and debris from getting inside the shoes, while a Ghillie lacing system creates a snug, secure fit among other features that make these boots a good option for outdoors lover’s.
In addition to the already mention features, the Altitude Lite hiking boots are light weight for the type of shoes they are. They have an attractive design with a tan /camel and burgundy combo ( also available in gray).
The boots also have the OrthoLite® sockliner that provides users with very nice cushioning and has anti-odor and anti-microbial properties!
To help prevent strain and help with sock absorption, the hiking shoes features compression molded EVA midsole and also has Multi-Directional Traction (MDT), rugged rubber outsole to improve grip and also for durability ( I should mention, that both shoes have a 1 Year warranty and a 60 days comfort guarantee).
Good quality, comfortable and made to last, these shoes are a must have for your next hiking adventure!
The Altitude Lite I Water Proof Hiking shoes have a retail price of $89.99.

Nice looking footwear for sure and reasonable pricing too!
Yes, they have a nice selection at a good price:)
I really like the comfort look of the Waimea Slide, would be easy on my old feet and easy to put on and off, like the brown ones the best from hi-tec.com
The V-Lite Walk-Lite Witton in tan is really different. I love the look of that shoe. the two-tone look is nice.
I also like the Trail II hiking shoes. I love to have a higher top so these in the giveaway are my favorite. Sometimes a higher top is not needed though so the Trail II would be good for moderate hiking.
I like all of them, but the Altitude V waterproof would probably be best for when I hike in slightly damp conditions. A smart looking boot
I love the gusseted tongue to keep dirt & rocks out. Also the light-weight feature of this hiking boot is another great feature. And of course where would hiking boots be if they weren’t water proof! I hope I win.
Besides the hiking boots offered in the giveaway, I also love the Waimea Slide sandals. They look so nice and comfortable. I need a new pair of sandals and like backless but have trouble wearing them, these slides look like they would not slip around.
These look like amazing quality shoes… especially for my rugged little man! I would love to have the Penrith Mid Jr waterproof boots for my boy!!
I really like the Altitude Lite i Waterproof for my son. He is always on the go outdoors and goes camping and hunting. This would be great for him. Thank you
I love the PERPETUA LOW WATERPROOF shoes! They look just like what I would wear and would keep my feet warm and dry in the winter. Plus I could wear them when we go hiking out west instead of my old combat boots!
The Waimea Fall sandals look good and the reviewer gives them a rave for sturdiness and comfort. I’m probably pickier about sandals than any other kind of shoe, because nothing is more uncomfortable than a poorly designed sandal or one made of crummy materials.
I really like their womens sandals. The galica strap and the waimea falls are both really cute and look comfy. I think my favorite is the Waimea Falls in Graphite/Light Grey/Aqua.
My favorite is the St. Moritz Insulated 200 Waterproof boots. I STILL haven’t gotten a pair of boots. This time, I need to be ready for the winter. (I say that every summer). These boots are just what I need – insulated, waterproof, and they have a SUPER tread on the bottom so you don’t slip on the ice!
My favorite is the Altitude V Waterproof. I like that it is lightweight and waterproof. Most important, it comes in my size! It is hard to find extra wide widths for short feet =/
I like the Haraka Walking Shoe….very pretty and they look comfy too!
I would like to get my husband the Hi-Tec Bandera Low Waterproof boots. They would be good for when we go hiking. We go hiking in NH and NY and the ground is ofter very wet and muddy.
I like the Altitude Lite i Waterproof my husband could use these and I like that there waterproof.
Hi-Tech has always made high quality footwear but I always think that they are the best looking boot available also. I really like the waterproof boots – I work as a surveyor so high quality boots are important to me
Bandera Low Waterproof, because its stylish but at the same time waterproof and breathable mesh. It appears to be very comfortable for walking rough terrain or easy walking paths. I’d definately use these shoes.
I like the PENRITH LOW WATERPROOF shoes. They would be perfect for my daily walks. I especially like that they are waterproof for those days when the track is wet.
I do a lot of walking and mild hiking in various types of terrain, so the Altitude Lite I Waterproof Hiking Boots would be perfect for me. I like the fact that they are both waterproof and stain resistant. The cool grey color is my favorite! However, for everyday use, my favorite pair of shoes on the HI-TEC website was the Women’s Penrith Low Waterproof in Steel Grey/Aqua. I really enjoyed reading your review!
i like the winter boots ST. MORITZ INSULATED 200 WATERPROOF
Love the Altitude V Waterproof boots!
I really like the women’s PENRITH LOW WATERPROOF shoe. I love that it frees up my ankle yet provides enough support. I also love that it is waterproof!
Bandera Mid Waterproof boots are my favorite. I like that its water proof so I dont
have to worry about getting my feet wet. I also like that they look great. I also kikethat the boots are made of breathable Dri-Tec. so hopefully my feet wont get to warm.
I would like a pair of the Bandera Low Waterproof shoes for women. I like the Taupe/Blush color. We have been getting rain several days a week so these shoes would be great to keep my feet from getting wet.
My favorite is the Altitude V Waterproof. I like that it is lightweight and waterproof.
I like the skamania mid waterproof. We go on ATV trips frequently, and having safe and comfortable shoes is very important. I typically use waterproof boots but they aren’t very good for the rough terrain. Shoes like these made for hiking but also waterproof would be much better
I like the skamania mid waterproof.
I think my favorite it the Altitude V waterproof for men. My son would like these for tromping around campus this fall and winter. I like the Dark Chocolate color best. Gotta go back and see how heavy they are. I used to have some great hiking shoes but they were too heavy for me to walk in.
19.4 oz. And wow, the reviews showed someone used to climb mt Killimanjaro. NICE!
I love the Penrith Low Waterproof. These look like they would be great, fashionable, hiking shoes for me! I love to go hiking!
I really love their BANDERA MID WATERPROOF. They are just my style
I like the galiciea strap
so cool – love the tan color- these are perfect for my mom thank you !xoxoxox
love this giveaway
I also like their Bandera Pro Mid Waterproof Steel Toe. it will help protect my feet while working around the house, especially when doing home improvements. it’s also waterproof so it can be used outdoors as well.
I like the women’s Trail II style of hiking boots. The lower rise is more my style and they look like they’d stand up to long hikes. It’s an added bonus that it’s on sale right now!
Im really liking the PENRITH LOW WATERPROOF. the aqua color is really nice with the gray. I think they would make great shoes for hiking. thanks for the chance!
I really like the CIMARRON II WATERPROOF shoes. I could definitely use them for hiking or my job. Thanks!
My shoe would be the V lite Walk lite Wallen. I like a lighter weight, whether at work or out walking. Heavier boots are OK for uneven ground or rock hopping but most of the time we buy boots far beyond our intended use.
I would choose the Penrith Low Waterproof these look amazing. The color goes with everything thing they look like they will hold up and take some good use. Have never had a pair of shoes like this would be amazing. thankyou, ken
The shoes above would be fantastic for hiking in places where it might get muddy, wet, and rougher trails. Another pair of shoes from their selection I like are the Cimarron II. I’d use these for the easier trails.
I like the Women’s Skamania Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot. They are waterproof and have a breathable mesh lining. They grip the ground with rubber treads that are rugged and durable. Plus they’re grey which shows less dirt.

I like the Trail 2 hiking shoes, I go in all the nasty brush and mud so the high top boots suit me best when I am on an excursion. Thanks, I am so glad I found these they are so reasonable!
I love the CIMARRON II WATERPROOF!! They look comfortable and they are waterproof too!! I could do lots of hiking and fishing wearing these!! Love the color too!! Thanks 🙂
I like the logan waterproof. I would use these for hiking in the woods
I would like to get the Logan waterproof boot. These would be great for hikes on the trail or in the woods. I love that they are waterproof so my feet won’t get wet.
I desperately need some hiking boots. I am going to Montana in September. I am getting in shape by hiking my own hills, and sneakers do not support the ankle well. The Hi-Tec Altitude Lite 1Waterproof hiking boots look great, and would support my ankles well. I’m hoping that by “lite” they mean that they are not too heavy & clunky to wear. I like to walk fast, and I have trouble stepping on rocks that shift and can easily injure myself. Thanks for a great give-away!
It has a coating and a dri-tec waterproof membrane to keep your feet dry. I think that is great, I love to camp not only in the summer time but the winter time as well. Plus, I like to mine for gold. These would be great to keep my feet dry.
I like the Altitude Lite I Water Proof Hiking Boots shown on this page. There’s also a lot of other shoes I like also. I’d love to try some of them in person.
I really like the Trail II. It looks comfortable and stylish. And not too clunky!
i like the ALTITUDE IV WP. It lloks durable and I wear out shoes quickly . I would use it for hiking
I would choose the Altitude V Waterproof. The double stitching, lightweight construction, waterproof qualities and cushioning sock liner are all a bonus. The ankle height is exactly what my husband is searching for. Oh, and the price is right! Thanks!
I like the Womens St. Moritz Insulated 200 Waterproof boots. I don’t have a pair of winter boots and I could use these.
My favorite item is the ST. MORITZ INSULATED 200 WATERPROOF boots. I think they would be great for me. I need a nice pair of waterproof boots for winter. Thanks for the chance to win!
I would love to have a pair of their sandals. The women’s Waimea Falls sandals are my favorite. On sale right now, too!
I like the Women’s ALTITUDE LITE I WATERPROOF. We enjoy hiking and I’d love a new pair of hiking boots with a better sole. My current ones are okay but they can be a little slick when hiking over rocks plus they aren’t water proof!
I like the BANDERA LOW WATERPROOF. I could use this for our hike to our wedding. We will be taking about a 2 hour hike to get to our wedding ceremony site. We are so excited!!
I love the waterproof shoes. That would be perfect for wet hikes. I am in need of a good pair of hiking shoes.
I like the Ozark 200 I WP. It seems very durable and comfortable. I also like how it looks.
My favorite thing in the catalog is the st. moritz insulated 200 waterproof boots. Why? They are cute. THey are waterproof. And they come in size 11. Do you know how hard it is to find cute boots in size 11?
I like the Deco Pro Mid Waterproof Steel Toe boots for my husband. They’re waterproof, sturdy with rubber soles. The steel toes will protect him. And they look great so I’ll be happy too.
My favorite is the Skamanyia Mid Waterproof. I really like the colors and the fact that they come in wide widths. The multi-directional traction is a big plus also, as I seem to get less sure footed as I get older. I’m sure that the compression molded EVA midsole will make my knees happy too, especially after a long day.
well being that i already have a pair of hiking shoes, i would choose a pair for my wife doesnt have any….i had gone shopping for some around christmas time but found the selection kind of lacking. i do see a pair here that would be quite perfect for her, the PERPETUA LOW WATERPROOF, looks like a winner to me. by design and weight of the shoes thats what i would choose for her, she says i do a pretty good job.
I like the Mens Skamania Mid Waterproof in brown. I’ve always liked hi-tec. My current pair is almost worn out. they always last and fit great!
These would be perfect for hiking in the nature preserve. I love the ALTITUDE LITE I WATERPROOF JR. for my son.
i wan t a pair of V-LITE Walk-Lite Wallen walking shoes thank you
I like the Logan Waterproof Hiking Boots. More importantly, my boyfriend would like them. His birthday is coming up, and they would make a great gift. They are very reasonably priced, too.
For myself, I like the Haraka. I don’t really require waterproof shoes, and they say this shoe is lightweight, which I really do like. The boots, however, would be a great gift for one of my grandsons, who need good quality footwear for their work activities.
There are so many great options here. I would like the SKAMANIA MID WATERPROOF boots as I do animal rescue and need something durable, tough and waterproof. I think these would hold up and still let me chase down a raccoon or two!
I like the BANDERA LOW WATERPROOF Women’s Walking Shoe
My husband has been begging me to get him some new hiking boots. I really like the ALTITUDE IV WP. I bet he would also. thank you
i was looking at your boots and found these https://us.hi-tec.com/fusion-sport-mid-waterproof-24049.html that i liked.. we have been taking hikes more frequently. My son is looking for a new pair for over night hikes and hammocking.
I like the Penrith Low Waterproof. Thanks for the giveaway!
I love the Women’s Halona Waterproof Shoes. I like that they are perfect for going on hiking trails when you want to make sure that your shoes stay dry in any conditions. I also like that they are perfect for causal weekend wear as they look so comfortable as well as stylish at the same time.
I like the BANDERA LOW WATERPROOF they look so comfortable. and can be use everyday as well as hiking.
I like the Waimea Falls hiking sandal. I think they would be great for some of the easier trails in Gatlinburg. I like them because they are cooler than hiking boots and would dry a lot faster if I got them soaked.
I like BANDERA PRO MID WATERPROOF STEEL TOE Boots.
My Husband and I have 5 Acres of Property, and he is always outside trimming tree’s , cutting brush, and handling equipment so having a steel toe shoe is needed for his safety. I like to know my Husband is safe while he is working outside. He would love these boots, and the Black Color would help hide some of the dirt and would look new longer.
Thank You for the giveaway… I like the V-Lite SpHike Low Waterproof Men’s Multi-Sport shoes, perfect for everyday walks / hikes along the miles of nearby nature trails that I frequent with our family.
I love the BANDERA LOW WATERPROOF. This would be fantastic for the hiking we do as well as on the boat since they are waterproof. I need good sturdy, quality shoes for our activities.
