Whenever I get a new phone or tablet, I make sure to get some protection to any device I might get and while I have tried different case styles and brands, there is one that is on top of my favorite’s list for the protection levels it provides, but also for their designs. OtterBox offers an amazing selection of protective cases for smart phones and tablets. OtterBox provided me with a free case to try for this review. OtterBox has recently added a really neat design to their already wide selection of phone cases and I was sent the Galaxy S4 Commuter Series Wallet.
I have been using the case for a few weeks and love it! The OtterBox Galaxy S4 Commuter Series Wallet has some really neat features like various layers of protection so your know your phone is truly protected. The wallet as you can guess by its name, was actually designed with a Wallet storage that allows you to keep up to three cards and one bill in it.
The wallet drawer’s has an audible click closure that lets me know that the drawer is securely closed. The case is thin enough that I can easily fit it in my back pocket which is exactly where I have my phone most of the time.
The great thing about this case, is not only the great protection I can provide my phone with, but also the versatility of the case which allows me to charge the phone and use the camera and ports without removing the case. Of course it is also very nice that it allows me to carry my most basic essentials like driver’s license, a couple of credit cards and a bill in case of need.
This cell phone is great for times when you do not want to carry a bag with you or when you are exercising and just want to carry a small sports bags and still want to be connected in case of any mishap and at the same time have an ID and some money with you…It is always good to be prepared for the unexpected and that is exactly what this case offers me.
In addition, the case is available in three different colors to match your need and style…I for example decided to go with the pink/ gray color combo.

I have wanted a case like this for awhile, but didn’t know it existed! I hate wearing my phone on my arm while I run (can’t stand the arm bands) so end up carrying it in my hand, which doesn’t annoy me as much. BUT. There have been very unfortunate times when I have dropped it on the pavement and even in a puddle. Not good.
I’m not sure if I would go with the Commuter series, so that I can carry ID and some money with me, or if I would go all out with the Preserver series. Will have to think on it. Black is good for me 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway!!
I would pick the Defender Series for Motorola Moto G. I like the wild orchid color best. As far as when otterbox would be good for me- well, that would be every day. I’m always dropping things. I’m very hard on my electronics.
I would pick the Galaxy Note 8 Defender Series in Black. I wish I had this when my tablet slipped (it’s like a china plate!), and almost landed on my hardwood floor. Luckily I was able to grab it in time, but it was a good 15 minutes before my heart rate slowed to normal. OMG. I hear Otterbox is the best on the market, made for klutzes like me! Whew!
I would pick the defender series for the LG G2. I think I would go with pink but I am not sure because it would be for my sisters new phone. Otter Box is a great brand with great cases!
I would pick the Defender Series Case for iPad Air. I would choose the outer layer in gunmetal grey, the inner layer in light teal and the shield stand color in gunmetal grey also. I have fortunately never had a phone or computer damaged by mishaps, but I have a brand new Ipad Air that really really needs protection, especially when I am babysitting my grandson!
I want the HTC First Defender Series case. My daughter needs it for her phone. I would give to her. She is scared she is going to drop it.
I don’t have an iPhone, but my husband does. He works on a boat, so the Preserver Series would be great to protect his phone. Thank you!
I would choose the Defender series for iPad mini in all black. I wish that I had an Otterbox case when I went on a road trip. When I got out of the car, my phone slipped out of my pocket and hit the asphalt….it cracked the screen.
I would get a teal blue and gunmetal grey otter box case. I really love that I designed my own color. I wish that I had a otter box the time when my phone fell on the ground at wal-mart. It cracked the top but not the bottom. I am desperately wanting that phone case.
I am pretty sure I’d get the Defender Series Case for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 in the papaya color. I love the rugged design & piece of mind knowing an Otterbox case is protecting my tablet. One time I really could have used an Otterbox was when my smartphone fell out of my hands by accident and landed on the floor near my desk. You’d think that the carpeting in our office would have helped with the fall, but nope, darn thing developed a big crack in the screen and never worked right afterwards!
I would choose the Symmetry Series for HTC one in the color teal rose
I wish I had an otterbox with me a few months ago when I dropped my phone in the road and the screen shattered! it was horrible!

I would pick the Defender Series Slip Cover for Apple iPad Air if I won. I wish I would of had an Otter Box for my last smart phone because the case I had for it was really cheap and didn’t last long at all. I would prefer something that will last a long time and keep my phone protected.
The /iPhone-4/4S-Defender-Series-Graphics-Case/APL2-I4SUN in pink with Olivia the Otter on it is so very cute. I would love to have one like this to protect my phone I’ve dropped it in the airport before when I was in a hurry to put it in my purse.

one of the cases for my kiindle. I love my kindle but hate taking it out to the pool for fear of someone breaking the screen. It has happened several times with my phone so I don’t take it.
I’d get the build your own Defender series for my Galaxy S4 with the outer case in Eden, the inner shell in white with a black holster. I don’t have a case right now for my phone (which isn’t very smart) and I really wish I had one this winter. My hands get so dry and the S4s are slippery, I’ve been lucky so far but I don’t want to push it.
I got a new phone last week and I will be honest and say before owning a ‘fancy’ phone I never considered the importance of a phone case before. Visited the site and I really like the Defender Series for Samsung Galaxy S5 in black. My favorite feature is the built-in screen protector guards against scratches and scrapes to the beautiful 5.1” touch screen while providing full access to the fingerprint scanner.

I would choose the iPhone 4/4S Defender Series Plastic Shell in teal. I don’t have a smart phone or cell phone so this would be for my daughter whom I have purchase 4-5 phones for her over the past 3 years. I wished she had this case about 3 months ago when she cracked the screen of her phone.
I would choose the defender series case for Motorola Moto X in Lily. I already have it in Key Lime. I would have loved to have had an otterbox a couple years ago when I got my first cell phone and I had dropped it in a hotel from one floor to another!
I’d get a Build Your Own Commuter series case for my iPhone. I wish I’d had a case on my old phone when my son dropped my phone shattering the screen.

Oh man! I had just gotten my first smart phone, had it for about 3 weeks. I left work one day after loading some stuff into the back of my car. I drove off, then went to check the time, and realized I didn’t have my phone. Then it hit me. I left it on my bumper. I drove up and down the road looking for it and finally found it, smashed into bits. I wonder if an Otterbox could’ve saved it! If I won, I’d choose the iPhone 5C Defender case with the blue outer shell, light blue inner shell, and a white holster!

I would get the Commuter case in black. I had that same case and unfortunately, my phone got run over by a car. The OtterBox is tough, but no match for the weight of a car. So, now I need another one for my new phone!
I’d like the Galaxy S4 Active Defender Series Case in Glacier. Honestly, I’ve been waiting for the s5 to hit the market to get the s4 cheaper. I wish I’d had the otterbox when my roomie’s adult son broke the CASE on my motorola. Why he thought it was okay to even pick up my phone,,,,argh! He’s about 30. There was no reason.
I would get the iPhone 5 case with Blue Sienna on the outside and Gunmetal Gray on the inside for my husband. When we switched phone carriers I got a new phone and he took my old one. Currently it has a hot pink and blue case and I would love to get him something more “manly”. He works in a high school and he says a lot of the students ask him about the pink case. I wish I had an Otterbox when my girls were small. They were constantly dropping my old phone and I was always worried that it would break.
A phone case is very important for anyone with a smart phone, I can’t believe how many people walk around with cracked screens …That is dangerous specially if you have kids!

My old case was too flimsy and definitely not as durable as Otterbox
I like the Symmetry Series for Apple iPhone 5/5s case. I’d get it in Dreamy Pink, love the soft muted colors. An Otterbox would of have been nice the day I accidently dropped my phone down a flight of stairs. Somehow my phone still worked, but it was banged up badly.
