I received a Glammer Emergency Escape Hammer to facilitate this review. I was not financially compensated for this post. My opinions are my own and not by any means influenced by any other part.
I was watching a TV show the other day where they were talking about a car accident…A woman got into an accident and she ended up in a canal. She had two kids in the car with her, a little girl and an older boy who was about 10 years old. The little girl was in her car seat and the boy was buckled up.

The woman was able to reach the little girl, get her out of the car seat and take her to safety, but by the time she made it back to the car, she could not open the doors and tried desperately to break the windows, but could not do it, she couldn’t free the little boy who drowned in the accident.

During this show, they mentioned a special tool that you can carry in your car for this type of situation. Living in Florida, I hear about people driving into canals way too often and it occurred to me that this tool was a really good thing to have in my car.

Blingsting.com offers this tool along with many other safety items, but all their products have been “blinged” to give them a more attractive look, so things that are usually just useful are also attractive and that includes pepper spray, personal alarms and their new Glammer.

The Blingsting Glammer

The Glammer is an emergency escape hammer for cars. The Glammer features a pointed steel tip that will allow you to break a car window in case of an emergency (the tip is covered by a protective cap that is easily removed to reveal the tip).

The Glammer also features a small blade ( comes with a protective cap for the blade), that will cut the seat belt if needed.

The Glammer also comes with a velcro visor strap that keeps the hammer secure and accessible at all times. The Glammer is compact and sturdy and even cute, but more importantly, it can mean the difference between life and death in case of an accident!

The Glammer is available in two colors: White and Rose gold and has a retail price of $24.00
