Umi Kid’s Shoes Spring Collection Review and Giveaway

Spring is officially here and with spring we hope for some better weather ( hopefully). Spring clothing and spring break go hand in hand and that covers the younger members of the family. I love getting the ladybug spring/ summer clothes and shoes and one of my favorites this season is the Dyan II from Umi shoes.

The Dyan II from Umi is a gladiator style sandal that features a super comfy metallic colored sandal that are available in either gold or silver. We picked the gold color ones for this review . The Dyan II are a light weight, light golden color sandals with gold studs.

The sandals have a semi elaborated design that features braids and cut outs that gives this sandal a sophisticated look while keeping your little diva comfortable. The sandals have elastic around the ankle for added comfort and mobility and it also has a zipper closure on the back to facilitate taking the sandals off and putting them on which comes in handy when the kids are younger. The sandals, like all Umi shoes, are handcrafted to promote a healthy foot development which is one of the reasons I love this brand.

The sandals have leather upper and at the bottom of the sole, you will an imprint design that helps prevent slips. The sandals are perfect for many different activities during the warmer days. I do not think they will do too good in a playground scenario though. The super cute Dyan II from Umi shoes are available in little girl and big girls size. The little girl sandals retail for $65.00 and the big girl’s sandals have a retail price of 70.00.

It was a hard choice. I think my favorite shoe is the Cora sandal in gold. I like that the gold is a light color and not glaring. These would be for my 19 month old daughter.

I love the big boys Rydon III shoes. Not only do they look stylish, but they would work for dress up pants or casual jeans. It’s so important to have a good pair of shoes to wear for any occasion that may come up!

I love the Luke in Bone/multi! My son has umi shoes and I love them! His therapist loves the support in the heel! Umi shoes are an all around winner!

I have a Grandson named Ryker, he is our 1st Grandchild. I loved how well made the shoes were . I like the Reece sandal. I also liked the Zander shoe. Very cute shoes.

Sometimes I despair of our intelligence when I SEE what we do to our feet- make an outline of your child’s new perfect foot- it’s NOT round-toes! It is more like a wedge or “duck” shape. Then we cram our feet all our lives into rounded toes and make podiatrists RICH later on. And suffer with pains and such of our poor feet.
Time to stop the insanity. Umi shoes seem to be most of the way to better bigger toe boxes and flexible soles. I would love to see more shoe companies and more people showing sanity and getting wider shoe toe boxes.

I think a girl here would choose a pair of Tamella II sandals for this summer should I win this contest! But I would let her choose. LOL but boy she loves pink. and she is comfort-driven too. She will NOT wear shoes that hurt her feet. GOOD for her she is wise.

At first look, I would choose the Edrea in brown or black for my 5 year old daughter. Then I came to the super awesome realization that winter is almost over! YAY! I think the Elaina in the silver or pink would make a great Easter shoe. So many options!

It’s hard to pick because all the designs are so cute, but then I saw that there is a shoe called Luke. And that is my nephew’s name! It also happens to be a really cute pair of shoes. (I’d wear them if they were in my size.)
