I have always known Zak Designs for their sun kids products, but I was really pleased to learn that they have added a line of products made with one of my favorite materials…Yes I am talking about the always great bamboo.
Zak has come up with a colorful attractive and modern look that while it can be used for your kids, it would make a wonderful table top set for the whole family. The colors are vivid and really attractive…I decided to go with the kiwi green. I received a set of 4 bowls and plates that are my daughter’s new plate set and a favorite for the whole family.
The Moso Bamboo collection from Zak offers a great variety of pieces that would allow you to create your set with the exact elements you want. Since the items on the Moso collection are made of 75% bamboo, they are biodegradable, but not microwave or dishwasher safe so keep that in mind. Truth be told this is certainly not a deal breaker… What stuck out to me was the fact that this line is made with a fast renewable source, and that quality and looks are outstanding.
The plates have an unusual shape that goes really well with the theme and the same rule applies to the bowls that are a hybrid between oval and round.
The bowls are about 5”, big enough for a serving of cereal, fruits or whatever my little lady or I could think of. The set of 4 bowls has a retail price of $15.96.
The plates are about 10” and as I mentioned before can perfectly be used as the family plates. They are also made in an unconventional shape to match the theme. The plates come in sets of 4 and have a retail price of $19.96.
